From Getachew Reda www.Ethiopiansemay.blogspot.com
In fact I was not interested to come to this website and comment for reason that is clear to the editors of this website; but, since this is not Ethiopian issue in General, I find it interested to comment. I am not surprised to see such pathetic narrow political nationalist scope that dismissed the suffering of the Highlanders/Kebesa community by the same Isayas Afewerki (EPLF) who is from the Christian Highland accused by these narrow nationalist elements for repressing the Muslim society of Eritrea on the Low land Eritrea lands.

How in the world can any front or any individual who speaks vigorously seeking justice to its community while at the same time dismiss to share the suffering of others (in this case the Highland Christian and Islam Community) who are suffering by the same repressive system that they oppose ? This is exactly why I always say- any narrow nationalist fronts will never bring any justice to its community as long as it remained focus only on its parents, and environments and its own religion. Sad indeed. What guarantee of democracy can these narrow nationalist give to the Low-landers if at they get their wish of integration? To complain regarding repression is legitimate reason, but to dismiss the suffering of the same community who live on the other side of the Mountain as if they too are living in Democracy and pleasure and wealth is simply idiotic to say the least. Is that not the Christina Highland as well that immigrate and suffering in all Eritrean Jail house as well? Getachew Reda editor

Thank you Dr. Abdullah,

You are the voice of the pastoralist communities who want to reunite with their brothers inside Ethiopia and Dijibouti. Our struggle is seriously ongoing against Afewarki's PFDJ-Ruling Junta. Recently the following episodes did take place in our fight for freedom from Eritrean Highland Tigrinyas domination and hegemony:

(1) On January 1st, 2010 the Democratic Movement for the Liberation of the Eritrean Kunama (DMLEK), an Eritrean rebel organization launched an attack on Eritrean positions near Zalanbessa. As you know well, DMLEK is one wing of the Eritrean Democratic Alliance that opposes the Eritrean government.

(2) On January 3, 2010 two Eritrean rebel groups, the Red Sea Afar Democratic Organization (RSADO) and the Eritrean Salvation Front (ESF) claimed credit for the January 1 attack on Eritrean forces that struck two Eritrean military camps, located in Kokobay and Kermeti. The rebels killed 12 soldiers belonging to Afewarki's PFDJ-Junta's intelligence unit located at Kermeti. They killed 13 Eritrean soldiers in the attack on Kokobay.

We shall soon be free!
